Just spending a reflective moment remembering my friend Rick Carpenter who died recently.

We shared a suit in Berlin for our nights on the town, we shared accomadation in Belfast and we shared a Mess kit in Cyprus. A diamond geezer and i shall remember him as my friend.

RIP 4sssssssssssssssss

bounce bounce Evening Chris
Sorry it`s taken so long to reply, but i have been away for a few days.
The footy was Quite good on wednesday night, I expected England to win but not by six goals?
One more win should see us into the finals.
What about Ronaldo going to Real Madrid for 80 million, I think its a good job that he is going he`s a good diver and very moody when things don`t go right?????????
Isee that there are some new photos of aden on the site mainly of the drums.
do you ever hear anything of Kiwi Wilson, you did say that he was in New Zealand?
How`s the Taxi business doing in the recession, my firm is doing quite well at the moment, i`me still doing a lot of hours.
Still i have only got 11 months and two weeks before i retire, HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morning all
Wally i found the england game to be sadly lacking in opposing football and i fear that we wont see any until 2010.

Ronaldo gave us many hours of fantastic football but money talks louder than football so all we can do is wish him well. Im not sure he will work well with kaka. Two prima donnas in one team, could be good for ballet.

The Taxi business is ok but i get a bit board just sitting around. I havent heard anything of Kiwi.

Retirement looks more pleasing each time i look at it.

afternoon Chris
I agree that the footy was too one sided last week, we will find it more difficult when we meet some REAL opposition in 2010.
Iheard from somewhere that Kaka is wanted by a club in England not sure if it is true or not?
Glad your business is okey,

Evening Chris
I think it might have been Chelsea that wanted Kaka mate?

Anyway not had too good a week this one, been bitten by a dog {my own dog} and it turned sceptic, on the club for a couple of weeks.
Still i cant blame him it was my own fault.
Getting a lot of remarks like :- dont you feed him or he thought it was a bone!!

Getting back to the regt, can you remember captain Peter Light, i know he was in B coy at one time but i lost touch with him any ideas.
speak soon

Oh Joy another Pompadour, as i live and breath . The name threw me at first then i remembered seeing a photo of cosey Cosgrove in the old comerades photos and found a picture of Les Goodwin. Hows that for my first try.

As i told wally i remember the name Light but not the face. I also spoke to Chris Jacobs a few months ago biut cant find his posts now. By the way wally is Brian Woolner from B company, dont no if you remember him.

Netheravon is that where they did the live firing.

hi chrisnwally how you both doing, both well i hope. Chris Netheravon was where they sent the best anti tank gunners hence cossie and me went and not you you lemon, no there was no live firing it was just a place where you got sent when they were looking for you to get a better knowledge of the job and to come away as instructors, Wally I vaguely remember you I think you and me were the only good looking ones in the regt were we not, cos there were some ugly b******s in the A/Ts and in "B" coy as I recall. Chris did you know Danny May who was in the pioneer platoon with Don Webb well if you did Iwas trying to trace him but no luck and then out of the blue I had a call from fire service hq cos I was a retained fire fighter for 25 years and his sister had seen on friends reunited that i was looking for him but sadly he popped his clogs about 9 years ago.I still talk to Webby occasionally and to cosgrovebut contact with others is difficult without phone nos, must go catch you both later,Les
