Adjutant

Wally,
It was not Lt Trevor Veitch as he was with us in the Antitanks so it was possibly Cpt Alastair Veitch as he was Adjutant in Aden.

B Coy

Post  trebor on Sun Nov 08, 2009 1:15 pm

Wally,
When I arrived in berlin I spent 6months in b coy but I cannot remember which platoon so it is possible we where in the same plaoon. I can remember that on one exercise the bren gunner drank so much Rum that got drunk and had to be sent back to camp and I got lumbered with the bren gun ( it may have the GPMG I am not sure ) I also remember we had a black Corporal memory is a bit hazy about this first six months as I was just getting some experience before joining the Antitanks.

Hi trebor
it`s possible we were in the same platoon in Berlin because i remember doing an excersis in the Grunewald forest when the snow was on the ground, i also vagely remember having a black cpl as well but i can`t recall his name.
