Yes i remember General Leng but he was only lt colonel in those days, i think Norbury took over from him, like yourself i saw it on the other site.

Thanks for putting me right, the old memorys a bit faded these days.
He must have been getting on a bit in age, He must have been in his forties when he was our CO.
Another question Chris, What was the name of the CSM we had in Aden ?

yea it would make him eighty something.
I remember collinson in Berlin and then Bomber Harris in Tidworth then nothing untill paderbourn where i think upson was the first

Do you remember Pete Watchorn, he was in 7 pltn, i have heard that he died a couple of years ago.
We used to call him rubber lips ????

Collinson was definatly Berlin and i believe Bomber was after Aden in Tidworth, so who was in the middle ? .
Yes i remember pete hes in my 7plt picture in the gallery on this site. I also heard that he died a year or so back.

I still cant remember who was csm in aden, but i think Terry Witherspoon might know.?

YES i saw the photo with pete on it, he had his head down.
I was in Colly today down the Hythe, hasnt it changed all new pent houses being built, a sign of the times i suppose.
